Wilma Stickel

Wilma M. (Wilma Lou) Stickel, 94, of Chambersburg, PA, formerly of Norris City, passed away at 1:10 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2020. She was born in Omaha, IL on November 16, 1925 the daughter of James Henry and Nancy Lucinda (Brown) Minor. Wilma married Edgar Valiant Stickel, Jr. on September 2, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1975. She worked as a clerk typist for the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA.

Wilma is survived by two sons, Henry (Susan) Stickel, of Benton, IL and Todd (Donna) Stickel, of Chambersburg, PA; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Stickel, a brother, James Denzil Minor and five sisters, Bonnie Mae Minor, Florabell Beam, Mildred Rose Harper, Linda Kay Minor and Nellie Marie Blackard.

Funeral services for Wilma M. Stickel will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Wilma's memory to National Wildlife Federation and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
