Wilma Jordan

Wilma Jordan, 75, of Carmi passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2:20pm at Phoenix Rehab and Nursing in Carmi. She was born March 9, 1936 in Crossville, IL the daughter of Harold Oliver and Dora Sophia (Gates) Hansman. Wilma married Ralph E. Jordan on August 27, 1955. She had worked at Ainsbrook Garment Factory and was a homemaker. Wilma was a member of Stewart St. Baptist Church,
Wilma is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ralph of Carmi; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Donnie Blazier of Carmi, Connie and Tom Mayer and Michelle and John Wible all of Evansville, IN; a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Gene Usery of Carmi; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Kay Hansman of Carmi; and seven grandchildren, Megan and Kailey Blazier, Tyler and Alyson Mayer and Luke, Logan and Emma Wible.
Wilma was preceded in death by a brother, John Wayne Hansman and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Mayer.
Funeral Services for Wilma Jordan, 75, of Carmi will be Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10:00 am at Stewart St. Baptist Church in Carmi with the Rev. Roger Balfour officiating. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery near Carmi. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm and from 9:00 am until service time Thursday at the church.
Memorial gifts may be given in Wilma's name to Stewart Street Baptist Church in Carmi and will be accepted at the funeral home.
