William Hutchison

William David Hutchison, 64, of Carmi, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Freeport, IL on December 15, 1951 the son of Johnny William and Bernice (Young) Hutchison. David married Donna Marie (Aldrich) Shook on May 23, 2002 and she survives. He was a Marine Corp Veteran serving in Vietnam. David had formerly worked as a welder at Elastec. He attended New Beginning Church of God. David enjoyed gardening, woodworking, loved going to church and reading the Bible.

David is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Vicky and Jim Scibor, of Woodhaven, MI; two sisters, Ann Bear of Brandenburg, KY and Cindy Maldonado of Louisville, KY; two grandsons James and Kaleb; a step-grandson Ronnie McNulty who he helped raise; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Bernice Hutchison, and a sister Betty Graff.

Funeral services for William David Hutchison, 64, of Carmi will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at New Beginning Church of God in Carmi. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in New Harmony with Military Rites. Visitation will be on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
