William Harman

William C. “Scrappy” Harman passed away on Friday December 29, 2017 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born on May 23, 1941 in Mt Vernon, IN the son of Curtis and Layla (Cross) Harman.
Bill was employed at Rice Motors for over 46 years. He enjoyed playing corn hole, and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Lavenia "Raven" Russell and granddaughter, Brittany Easton; his better half of 28 years, Connie Miller and their 3 children Joshua (Beth) Miller, Shane (Charly) Miller , and Rebecca Phelps; grandchildren, Deanne, Nicholas, William, Shania, Callie, Carson, Courtney, Kyndra, Bree and Chalon; 7 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; sisters Barbara Dielks and nieces, Sandy and Tammy. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marlene Schellenburg Harman.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Marshall Ferry Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until time of services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
