Ashley passed away on May 12, 2011. He died while visiting with friends in Chicago, IL. He was born January 2, 1980 in Casper, Wyoming.

He lived his life as a great adventurer. At the age of 5 he won the Young Authors Award while in kindergarten. That was the beginning of his writing skills. In junior high school, he grew bored from the normal every day schoolwork and taught himself to speak Spanish, French, and Russian. In high school he was awarded the Who’s Who Among American High School Students two years in a row. At the time of his death, he had been offered a book deal to write about his life’s journey.

In 1998 after graduating from Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, his adventures began. He was a web designer, graphic artist, IT specialist, and much more. There was never a computer problem he could not fix. His design work has been used by companies worldwide. He traveled to many places including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

In 2004 while working his dream job as a Marketing Director for JTA Inc., of Fort Collins, Colorado, his job took him to Thailand. While visiting Phuket, he survived the tsunami that hit in December. He fought for his life to escape the hotel that had been consumed with water. He survived by swimming to safety and clinging to a post until the waves receded. He watched many people die that day. Ashley felt very fortunate that he was one of the survivors. He was also partners with several graphic design companies in Colorado. Ashley’s graphic design talent exceeded the norm. What most could only imagine, he could create. His photography skills were just as exceptional. Many of his photos have been used by media outlets throughout the United States. Ashley’s last job was for Town Square Media in Casper, where he was involved in the digital media for 6 local radio stations.
At the time of his death, Ashley was taking flying lessons. He loved to travel, jet ski, and enjoyed flying ultralights.

Ashley is survived by, and sadly missed by, his mother, Lana C. Alldredge (Doug) of Casper, WY, his Aunts – Virginia (Otis) Holder of Mt. Vernon, IN; Billie (Paul) Smith of Bakersfield, CA; Helen Wisgerhof of Willowick, OH; Uncle Butch (Sandy) Alldredge of Mt. Vernon, IN; numerous cousins, and many dear friends, including special friend Linda Adams (Hank) of Casper, WY.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents William (Junior) and Rosalee Alldredge of Casper, WY (formerly of Mt. Vernon, IN).
