Wanda M. Garrett, 72 of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born on September 1, 1944 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Raymond M. and Irene (Fuller) Kueber.
Mrs. Garrett had worked at various businesses in the area, including Walmart and GE as a firewatcher. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mt. Vernon.
She is survived by son Jeremy (Jenifer) Garrett of New Harmony, daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Deig of Mt. Vernon and Angela Wiltshire (Phillip Sturges) of Evansville; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ronald (Stephanie) Kueber of Bend, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Laverne, and granddaughter, Rebecca Wiltshire.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
