Wanda Barrall

Wanda Mae Barrall, 87, of Flora IL, formerly of Norris City, passed away at 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Flora Rehab and Healthcare in Flora, IL. She was born in Salem, IL on July 12, 1929 the daughter of John Fred and Violet Rena (Fields) Jones. Wanda married Gene Barrall on November 22, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2005. She was a homemaker.

Wanda is survived by a son, John David Barrall of Steeleville, IL; a brother, William C. Jones of Mt. Vernon, IL; three sisters Helen (Morris) Newman of Wayne City, IL, Thelma Burkett of Salem, IL, and Doris (Roger) Bairfield of Houston, TX; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Steele; a brother, Robert Jones; and a sister, Joann Lawrence.

Funeral Services for Wanda Mae Barrall, 87, of Flora, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Rick Absher officiating. Burial will be at Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Wanda's memory to Powell General Baptist Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
