Wallace B. Austin, 55, of Norris City, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 6:25 a.m. at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL. He was born July 31, 1957 in Joliet, IL, the son of Herman and Thelma Mary (Hoenig) Austin. Wally married Myra Dalene Chapman June 30, 2004. He was a laborer and a baptist by faith.
Wally is survived by his wife, Myra Austin of Norris City; a daughter and her wife, Holly and Cheryl Ferguson-Bartley of Carmi; a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan D. and Kim Baldwin of Danville, IL; his mother-in-law, Betty Chapman of Herald; two brothers-in-law, Mike Chapman and Lyndel (Deb Catlin) Chapman all of Herald; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside funeral and burial services for Wally B. Austin, 55, of Norris City, will be Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Ridge Cemetery in Norris City with Rev. Sonny Jackson officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
