Victoria Price

Victoria Ann Price, 60, of Carmi, passed away on August 4, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, Illinois.  She was born on November 8, 1960, the daughter of Wesley Ray and Cleta Fern (Lowery) Evans.  She married Lonnie Lee Price and he survives. She worked as an LPN for many years. Victoria was a member of the New Beginnings Church of God in Carmi. She was a member of our church. She was faithful to the church when she could be there, and when she couldn’t she was faithful to watch it online. When she was able to move around she went to the nursing home and talked to the residents, and she absolutely loved that.  When the church was getting ready for the Easter extravaganza they  would take bags of eggs and candy,  and she would fill those eggs. She was always calling for them to bring her more eggs and candy! She was an inspiration to many, witnessing on how God was working in her life both physically and spiritually. She was great at ministering online and always putting something to encourage someone. She love the Lord with all of her heart. Besides her church and ministries, Victoria's favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren, Rowen and Asa. She loved playing video games with them.

Along with her husband, Victoria is also survived by her son, Clifton Owen Goff of Carmi, IL.; three step-children Shawn Michael Asberry of Norris City, IL., Richard Eugene Lee Price of Des Moines, IA., and Michael Allen Price of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Rowen and Asa Goff of Carmi, IL.; siblings, Mark Ivan Evans, Wesley Fulton Evans, and Gary Edward Duvall.  She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Clifton Ray and Maxine Theadoshia (Ralph) Evans; and siblings Henry Leon Duvall and Larry Ray Duvall.

Private Services will be held Saturday August 7, 2021.  Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements
