Vickie Wooten

Vickie Wooten, 62, of Norris City, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 4:20 a.m. in Norris City. She was born on March 11, 1953 in Eldorado, Illinois, the daughter of James Charles and Alice Evelyn (Blazier) Merritt. Vickie married Darrell Charles Wooten on November 18, 1983. She was a secretary for the Norris City Sanitary Department and Indian Creek Township.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Darrell of Norris City; her mother, Alice Merritt of Norris City; a daughter and son-in-law, Tasha and Joshua Davis of Chillicothe, IL; a brother, Gary Merritt of Noblesville, IN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Timothy Merritt.

Funeral services for Vickie Wooten, 62, of Norris City, will be on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
