Velma June Kincade, 70, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Gulf Breeze Hospital. Velma was born April 26, 1935 in Posey County, Indiana, daughter of Joseph and Georgia Emilyne (Grooms) Jackson. Velma graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1953 and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Mount Vernon. Velma was a member of the Gulf Coast Friends in Gulf Breeze. Velma worked in the insurance field until her retirement in 1990. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wilburn and Edward Jackson, sisters, Reba May Shirley, Ethel Pearl Hendrix and Edna Faye Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ralph Kincade, her son and daughter in law, Richard Alan and Barbara Kincade of Manhattan Beach, CA, her daughter and son in law, Terri Jo and James Ash of Edwardsville, IL, her brother, Roy Lee Jackson and wife Lillian of Mount Vernon, a sister, Norma Jean Read and husband Bertis of Mount Vernon, a sister in law, Joyce Jackson of Ozark MO, 8 grandchildren, Evan and Ian Kincade, Karen Cobb, Tara Utsey, Andrea Knight, Ryan, Christopher and Nathan Ash and 3 great grandchildren, Loren Conner, Joseph Kincade Yaddrick and Ethan Utsey. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth Street in Mount Vernon, IN, with burial in the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Friday, November 4, at the funeral home.
