Troy Montgomery

Troy D. Montgomery, 47 of Mt. Vernon, IN passed away Thursday August 24, 2017 at Charlier Hospice in Evansville. He was born January 5, 1970 in Evansville, the son of Donald and Barbara (Harper) Montgomery.
Troy worked 25 years for D&D Amusements. He was a member of the Sons of the Legion at Owen Dunn Post #5, the Eagles and Moose. He was an avid pool player. He had attended the Pentecostal Assembly in Mt. Vernon.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara; brother, Paul (Sarah) Montgomery, sister, Donna Montgomery; nieces and nephews, Megan and Macey Montgomery, Brice Montgomery and Mckenzee McIntyre. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and his son, Seth Aaron Montgomery.
A Celebration of Life for Troy will begin at Noon on Saturday August 26, 2017 at Owen Dunn Post #5 American Legion. His burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his son Seth Aaron. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon is in charge of arrangements.
