Thomas McGuire

     Thomas James McGuire, 70, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on November 8, 1954, in Alton, Illinois, the son of James F. and Miona Jean (Endicott) McGuire. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a jack of all trades. Tom was great at carpentry and mechanics. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at Danny's Pool Hall.

    Tom is survived by his siblings, Connie Harrelson, Ron McGuire, Darren McGuire, Ray McGuire and Roger McGuire; four nieces; and three nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Danny McGuire, Brian McGuire, Kelly McGuire and Darrell McGuire.

   There will be no services at this time. Contributions may be made in Tom's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
