Thomas Englebright

Thomas Harold Englebright, 80, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at Deaconess Hospital on August 26, 2018.  He was born on June 8, 1938 in Posey County, the son of Norman and Edna (Wade) Englebright.

Mr. Englebright retired from the U. S.  Air Force and CF Industries.  He enjoyed fishing, his grandbabies and loved to sing.  He was a member of Owen Dunn Post #5, Eagles, and Moose.

He is survived by son, Rick (Stacy) Englebright; grandchildren, Abby and Connor; brother, James Englebright, and sisters, Colleen McClasky and Helen Willett.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry and Owen.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Debbie at Mt. Vernon Nursing Home and New Harmony Premier for his care and Owen Dunn Post #5 for all their help to the family.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, August 31, at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.  Military Services will be held at 5 p.m. by Owen Dunn Post #5 at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the family. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
