Tamela Merrick

Tamela A. (Lyon) Merrick, 29, of Mt. Vernon, IN died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at her home in Mt. Vernon. Tamela was born April 17, 1975 in Henderson, KY daughter of Larry Lyon and Paula (Ervin) Lewis. Tamela was a mother and homemaker and a member of Ladies of Harley. She was preceded in dea1th by her father. She is survived by her husband, Gregg Merrick of Mt.Vernon; Daughters; Krysten Ann Hillegas of Newburgh, IN and Autumn Nicole Merrick of Mt. Vernon; her mother and step father Paula (Ervin) and Ray Lewis of Henderson, KY; her brothers James & Billy Lyon also of Henderson; her aunts and uncles Peggy Vaughn, Ray and Sandy Ervin, Charlie and Vicky Ervin, Rhonda Hitt, Sandy Osborn, John and Jeanette Lyon and Ernie and Mimi Lyon; grandparents Pauline Ervin, Leslie Ervin and Beatrice Lyon.
Private memorial services for family and selected friends will be held from 2- 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 13, 2004 at Arbor Cremation Centers at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth St. Mt. Vernon, IN Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
