Suzanne (Arnold) McCormick, 71 of rural Carmi, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 9:55 p.m. at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born January 21, 1943 in Evansville, IN, the daughter of Felix William and Sallie Helen (Brumblay) Arnold. She married John W. McCormick June 19, 1965. She was a member of the Carmi First Christian Church, retired school teacher, housewife, mother, and business administrator.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years John McCormick of Carmi; two daughters and sons-in-law Aliza Anne and Daniel Nagelhout and their children Anna and Garrett Nagelhout of Plymouth, MI, and Shannon Kathleen and Ed Dzyngel and their children McKayla and Connor Dzyngel of Livonia, MI.
Funeral services for Suzanne Arnold McCormick will be Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Carmi. Burial will be in Big Prairie Cemetery near Carmi. Visitation will be on Wednesday at 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Pets At Risk and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
