Susan Gibson

Susan M. Gibson 65 of Mount Vernon passed away Sunday morning June 21, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital. She was born December 29, 1949 in Evansville, the daughter of Robert E. and Flora Bell (Emery) Gibson.

She is survived by her brothers, James Wayne Gibson and Timothy Paul Mendez of Evansville; sisters, Jayne Clark of Henderson, KY, Julia Hodges of Evansville, Linda Phillips of Elizabethtown, KY and Ida Skaggs of Bowling Green, KY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and her friend Shirly Holmes. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Felix Mendez and her companion, Jack Sanders.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday June 24, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Poseyville.
