Susan Cooper

Susan E. Cooper, 55, of Mt. Vernon, died at her home on Thursday morning, February 12, 2015. She was born on November 18, 1959 in Evansville, the daughter of Raymond and Mary R.( Kavanaugh) Dill. She married Jack "Bub" Cooper and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2006.

She is survived by one son, Jeremy Gasaway of Missouri; brother, Steven W. Dill of California; sisters, Margaret Phipps of Mt. Vernon, Carolyn Rodgers of Missouri and Kathy Zermeno, of Texas; four grandchildren, Caleb, Aubrey, Brittney and Cameron, her fianace, Jay Odette of Mt. Vernon, and husband's uncle, Dale Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janet.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service. On-line condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
