Susan Bowman

      Susan Ann Bowman, 67, of Norris City, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born on July 14, 1956, in Eldorado, Illinois, the daughter of Carl Matthew and Evadeen Antoinette (Roe) Mills. Susan married Donnie Bowman, and he survives. She worked as a cook and waitress. Susan enjoyed crafting, bowling, gardening flowers, and summer time. Susan loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

     In addition to her husband, Donnie Bowman of Norris City, IL, Susan is survived by her children, Krystal (Josh) Smith of Norris City, IL, Danielle (Josh) Healy of Norris City, IL, Ella (Kyle Burnett) Carter of Norris City, IL, Morgan (Bobby Baleda) Phillips of Albion, IL; step-children, Dylan (Ashley) Bowman of Norris City, IL, Dalton Bowman of McLeansboro, IL. and Devyn (Paitton) Bowman of Enfield, IL; grandchildren, Zaine, Liberty, Hunter, Kale, Gabby, Jaden, Dylan, Bella, Paisley, Raelynn, Landrie, Myla, Breanna, Dayne, Dawson, Shailynn, Paisley and Emersyn. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Mills.

     Funeral services for Susan Bowman will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Ridgway, Illinois. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Susan's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
