Stormy May Baker, 26, of Norris City, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. She was born on May 23, 1998, in Fairfield, Illinois, the daughter of Bryan Baker and Christine Marie Zaiko. Stormy worked as a forklift operator at Champion Labs in Albion, Illinois. She was an artist. Stormy enjoyed watching movies and taking care of her nieces and nephews. She was a loving and kind big sister. Stormy wasn't one to hold a grudge. She lit up the room when she walked in. Stormy never met a stranger and was a friend to many. She will be greatly missed.
Stormy is survived by her parents, Bryan Baker and Christine Marie Zaiko; siblings, Kenneth Lee Ripley, Drake Anthony Baker and Ethan Daniel Riley Baker; grandparents, Anthony Wesley (Karen Lee) Zaiko Jr., Joe Manning and Kat Zaiko Fiest; aunts and uncles, Glynn (Vickey) Baker, Gidget (Dale) Connor, Kimberly (Chrys) Zaiko, Anthony Zaiko III, Jessica Jager, Kelly Zinnie and Jeffery Zinnie; nieces and nephews, Carter, Gunner, Adrianne, Cooper and Benjamin. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Rebecca Sue Baker; and great-grandparents, Harold and Bernice Baker.
Funeral services for Stormy May Baker will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, with burial at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Stormy's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses, and can also be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
