Steven W. “Andy” Anselment, 61, of Carmi, passed away at Deaconess VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, on April 17, 2017. He was born on June 8, 1955 in Carmi, the son of Robert Norman “Cobb” and Opal Pearl (Banks) Anselment.
Mr. Anselment was a cable lineman and had worked for Worldbridge Inc. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He belonged to the American Legion and served as Commander in New Harmony in the late 80’s early 90’s.
He is survived by sons, Brad Anselment of Grayville and Steven R. Anselment of Orting, Washington; four grandchildren; former wife, Cynthia; brother, John Robert Anselment of Marion; and sister, Rita Asberry of Carmi. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald Ray Anselment, and sisters, Nancy Lynn McKenzie and Susie Powell.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
