Sidney Bergman

Sidney “Sid” Bergman, 61 of Carmi, passed away Sunday February 15, 2015 at Deaconess VNA Plus in Evansville. He was born March 28, 1953 in Kankakee, the son of Howard and Helen (Bilyard) Bergman. He married Tina Guthrie on October 15, 1980 at Bangor, Maine.

Sid worked as a lab tech at Trelleborg for 20 years. He loved photography, music and singing. He loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tina; two sons, Tracy and Chris Bergman of Carmi; two sisters, Connie Strand of Dallas, TX and Donna Osenga of Bradley. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Bonnie Bailey.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Friday February 20, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Mike Buckman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
