Shirley McDougal

Shirley A. McDougal, 86, of Peoria, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born in Enfield, IL on December 21, 1932 the daughter of Daniel Webster and Lella (Gwaltney) Fields. She married Edward L. McDougal on September 1, 1956 and he preceded her in death in August 1985. Shirley graduated from Enfield High School. She worked as a bank teller in Peoria.

Shirley is survived by nieces and nephews, Carmeta Bingman, Vickie Holman, John Fields, Joan Dozier, Kevin Kuykendall, Debbie Clark, Jackie Burr, Johnny Fields and Chris Fields. She was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Fields, five sisters, Wanda Etienne, Betty Pollard, Mary Fields, Peggy Clark and Dorothy L. Holtzclaw and one niece and four nephews, Connie Winter, Charles Holmes, Jim Fields, Mickey Pollard and Jason Kuykendall.

Graveside funeral and burial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Little Zion Cemetery in Enfield. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
