Shirley Harvey

Shirley A. Harvey, 79, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 1:17 a.m. at Heritage Manor Health in Springfield. She was born February 3, 1936 in Thompsonville, IL, the daughter of Eligah and Angie (Eason) Bozarth. Shirley married Gene Harvey on December 25, 1954. She was a beautician and had worked in Mt. Vernon, Salem and Effingham.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gene of Springfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Dan Nance and Karla and Chris Roberts all of Springfield; four grandchildren, Ryan and Zachary Thoroman and Jimmy and Stephanie Kirgan; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Ramona Pauline and Charles Thomas; and a brother, Ralph Bozarth.

Funeral services for Shirley A. Harvey, 79, of Springfield, IL, will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Thompsonville, IL. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
