Shirley Duvall

Shirley Duvall, 76, of Carmi, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 1:38 p.m. at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was born March 13, 1938 in Carmi, the daughter of Albert Arnold and Frances (Renshaw) Grant. Shirley married Latney Earl Duvall, Sr. on November 27, 1954 and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2008. She had worked as a C.N.A. and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Shirley is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Creamer of Carmi; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard Dale Duvall, Alfred Eugene Duvall and Lonnie Joe and Lisa Duvall all of Carmi and Latney Earl and Deborah Duvall, Jr. of Carlock, IL; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernie Grant of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, James Steven Duvall; a granddaughter, Sally Duvall; a sister and four brothers.

Funeral services for Shirley Duvall, 76, of Carmi, will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Mike Fields officiating. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call on Tuesday, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
