Shawn Jones

Shawn Dale "MEXICO" Jones, 38, of Carmi passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 in Crossville, IL.  He was born in Harrisburg, IL on January 6, 1982 the son of Billie Jo Jones.  Shawn worked for Campbell Energy, loved being outdoors and enjoying nature. He loved working on bicycles, fishing  and going on hikes.

Shawn is survived by his mother, Billie Jo and Tony Turner of Bloomington, IL; a daughter, Nauticy Stucky of Carmi; a son, Milo Abraham Jones of Carmi; grandmother, Linda Smith of Carmi; two brothers, Jeremy (Jessica) Jones of Carmi and Josh (Katlyn) Jones of Bloomington, IL; a nephew, Jaiden Jones; two nieces, Maisie Mae and Margot Lillith Jones; and special friends, Alicia Pearce and her family and Dustin and Amber Sauls and family.

A Celebration of Life for Shawn Dale "MEXICO" Jones, 38, of Carmi will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shawn's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Those attending the visitation & service are asked to observe customarily practiced social distancing guidelines. The wearing of a face mask or face covering is required.
