Sarah Turner

Sarah F. Turner 89 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Thursday November 15, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice in Evansville. She was born June 17, 1929 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Walter and Rosie (Green) Alldredge. She married Edward N. Turner in 1966 and he preceded her in death on February 10, 2010.

Sarah was a homemaker; she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and gardening. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Mt. Vernon. She loved her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Dailey and Judy (David) Trout; grandchildren, Bret Dailey, Kimberly (William) Hathaway, Kristie (Tony) Kuder, David Trout, and Dustin (Stephanie) Trout; great-grandchildren, Myles Utley, Kody, Keagan, Kourtney, Ethan, Marley, Mya and Max Trout, Kory and Houston Medcalf. brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ben and Phyllis Turner and sister-in-law, Imogene Turner. She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Herschel (Buck) Alldredge and James Alldredge; sister Cecil Blackburn, and the father of her children, Wallace Lyons.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday November 21, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home, 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon, IN with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
