Sara Hall

Sara Hall, 86, of Norris City passed away at 1:55 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, IL. She was born on August 20, 1927 in LaMar County, Texas the daughter of James Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Thompson) McNeal. Sara married Ralph Morene Hall on August 12, 1949 and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of the Norris City Christian Church.

Sara is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Ann and Jim Garrett and Mary Beth and Gary O'Neal both of Norris City; a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Wayne and Christy Hall of Norris City; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Wayne and June McNeal of Big Springs, TX; six grandchildren, Jaime Garrett, Sarah Drone and husband Blake, Courtney Vinyard, Missie Allen and husband Kyle, Shannon Johnson and husband George and Brad Hall and fiancAC. Whitney Hosick; two step-grandchildren, Darren O'Neal and wife Robin and Farrah Boyd and husband Curtiss; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Roscoe and Joseph McNeal and eight sisters, Wilma Woods, Oatsie Kincaid, Colma Banes, Billie Jewell Harmon, Dora Coffee, Mary Edna Oliver and Marjorie Taylor.

Funeral Services for Sara Hall, 86, of Norris City will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call at the Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
