Sandra K. Cutchin, 69, of Carmi passed away at 11:09 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her home. She was born July 12, 1946 in Equality, IL the daughter of Elbert Lee and Marie (Slayton) Vailes. Sandra was of the Christian faith and had worked as an LPN at various nursing homes.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Mike Henson of Carmi; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Darlene Bartley, Jr. of Carmi; her husband, Steve Cutchin of Carmi; a son-in-law, Donnie Douthitt of Carmi; two sisters, Edna Gelina Cathey and Grace Juanita Shelby; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Kay Vailes; six grandchildren, Ryan Douthitt and wife Brianne, Ryse Brinkley and husband Kalin, Kody Henson and wife Kayla, Riley Cantrell and husband Boe, Dalton Bartley and Hannah Bartley; and six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Faith, Toby, Harper, Parker and Ryder.
Sandra was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jean Douthitt on April 21, 2015; two brothers, John Earl and Jesse Lee Vailes; and four sisters, Frances Eckart, Shirley Ann Kelly, Shirlyn Sue Cutrell and Shelbia Gay Richmond; and the father of her children, Robert Bartley.
Funeral Services for Sandra K. Cutchin, 69, of Carmi will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in White County Memorial Garden. Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
