Ruth Pyle

Ruth L. Pyle, 97 of Carmi, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehab in Mt. Vernon, IN. She was born July 20, 1916 in Strasburg, IL the daughter of Frank and Della (Ellis) Richards. Ruth married Marion V. Pyle on June 8, 1940 and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2005. She was a homemaker.
Ruth is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Emma Jean Richards and Robert and Barbara Richards all of Scottsburg, IN; along with two special grandchildren, Joe and Jema Mitchell.
Private graveside services and burial for Ruth L. Pyle, 97, of Carmi will be held in Kingdom Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion V. and Ruth L. Pyle Scholarship Fund and will accepted at any First Bank location or at Campbell Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
