Ruby Johnson

Ruby J. Johnson, 91 of Enfield, passed away Sunday morning October 12, 2014 at the Enfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 17, 1923 in Harrisburg, the daughter of Stella Price. She married Cegal Johnson and he preceded her in death.

Ruby had worked in many area nursing homes and had also worked in the area school cafeterias. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by 1 daughter, LaVada (Wayne) Boyd of Enfield; 2 grandchildren, Tonya and Shayne Boyd; 2 sisters, Utha Angelly and Donna Browning both of Harrisburg.A few nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday October 14, 2014 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Jerry Wells officiating.
