Rose Post

Rose Mary Post passed away at her daughter’s home in Indiana, on September 23, 2014. She was born on March 25, 1938 in Chicago, IL the first child of Michael and Margaret (Lewis) Garetto.

Rose Mary had 5 siblings; brother, Michael Garetto of Henderson, Nevada, brother, Donald Garetto, sister, Diane (Garetto) Cook, brother, Timothy Garetto, and sister, Patricia Garretto.

She was the mother of 6 children, daughter, Pamela (Williams) Tamalunas of New Buffalo, MI, son, Robert Williams, Jr. of South Holland, IL, daughter, Nannette (Williams) Swing of Cedar Lake, IN, daughter, Mary (Williams) Coleman of Carmi, IL, sons, Timothy Williams and Michael Post, both of Manchester, TN; and a step-son, Wayne Biebuck of Southern IL; 14 grandchildren,26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Margaret Garetto; first husband, Robert Williams, second husband, Wayne Post, brother, Timothy Garetto, sister Patricia Garetto and son, Timothy Williams. She was deeply loved, and will be deeply missed by all.

Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Big Prairie Cemetery in Carmi. Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements. On-line condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
