Rosa Lee Pool, 100 years, 11 months, 27 days, of Broughton, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi, IL. She was born July 30, 1914 in Hamilton County, IL the daughter of Christopher and Eliza (Allen) Wheeler. She married Ezra Pool on March 1, 1931.
Rosa Lee is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Dorothy) Pool of Metropolis, and J.C. (Carolyn) Pool of Broughton; three grandsons, Mike (Leslie) Pool of Metropolis, Kevin Pool of Albion, and Brandon Pool of Broughton; two granddaughters, Michelle (Steve) Huggins of Jackson, Mo, and Alicia Pool-Caudill of Broughton; one step-grandson; five great-grandsons; six great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandson; two great-great granddaughters, and four step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979; a grandson, Doug Pool in 2014; two sisters, Ica Howard and Stella May Harper; and two brothers, Clarence and Sherman Wheeler.
Funeral services for Rosa Lee Pool will be Thursday, July 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Mike Fields officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Wednesday, July 29 from 5 to 8 p.m.
