Ronald Risinger

Ronald G. Risinger, 73, of Carmi, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 8:44 a.m. at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was born on April 2, 1941 in Gibson County, Indiana, the son of Doyle and Nellou (Garrett) Risinger. Ron married Teri Zimet on July 23, 1982. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves and a courier for FedEx. Ron was a member of the Enfield Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.

Ron is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teri of Carmi; a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Clifton Thompson of Henderson, KY; a son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Carol Risinger of Haubstadt, IN; four grandchildren, Cameron and Preston Risinger and Garrett and Delaney Thompson; a half sister, Diana Davis of Houston, TX; and two half brothers and sisters-in-law, Sonny and Peb Robertson of Evansville, IN and Rob and Ellen Robertson of San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Ronald G. Risinger, 73, of Carmi, will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Bob McKelvey officiating. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
