Ronald D. Murdach, 75, of Carmi passed away at 3:15 a.m., Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center. He was born October 31, 1939 in White County, IL the son of Kenneth Wayne and Marjorie Marie (Barton) Murdach. Ronald was a graduate of Enfield High School. He had worked for George Mitchell Drilling for over 39 years and received the Service Person of the Year award from the Illinois Oil and Gas Association in 2009.
Ronald is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Rhonda and Clayton Pepmiller of St. Charles, MO, Barbie and Todd Moore of Harrisburg, IL, Sarah Skaggs of Norris City and Susan and Kevin Knepp of Montgomery, IN; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry Murdach of Oklahoma City, OK and Mike and Karen Murdach of Chester, IL; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Larry Murdach of Mesa, AZ, Jerry and Jane Murdach of Enfield and Stephen and Stacey Murdach of McLeansboro; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services for Ronald D. Murdach, 75, of Carmi will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at Campbell Funeral Home.
