Ron K. Williams went home to be with His Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He never wavered from his faith during his long battle with cancer.
Ron was born August 6, 1947 to Harley and Betty Essary in Alton, Illinois. He was 1965 graduate of North Posey High School and a 22 year veteran of the United States National Guard and served four years in the United States Marine Corp. Ron had worked for Whirlpool Corporation and Broerman Chevrolet in Poseyville. Most recently he had worked as a Dye Developer for Crescent Plastics retiring in 2006 after 10 years of service.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, camping, and spending time outdoors. Ron could remodel most anything. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and was an avid Colts fan. Ron and his wife, Jane enjoyed traveling through the United States.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, December 3, 2007 at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 E. 4th Mt. Vernon, Indiana with Reverends Mark Tabor and Carolyn Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Retired Veteran’s Club Post# 1114.
Friends may call 1 pm until 6 pm, Sunday, December 2, 2007 and Monday, December 3, 2007 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
