Roger Hogan

Roger Dale Hogan, 60, of Carmi passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  He was born in Carmi, IL on February 9, 1957 the son of Raymond Franklin and Rosa A. (Parker) Hogan.  Roger married Ellen Doris Peotter on November 20, 2012 and she preceded him in death on February 16, 2015.  He was a 1975 graduate of Carmi Community High School. Roger previously owned and operated Hogan Roofing. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carmi.

Roger is survived by; a son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Michelle Hogan of Bexley, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Dan Evetts of Francisco, IN; two sisters, Debbie Usery and Sharon (Thom) Behnke both of Carmi; a brother, Ernest (Linda) Bingman of Carmi; four grandchildren, Ashley, Lily and Lance Evetts and Lucy Hogan; along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Rosa Hogan.

Funeral services for Roger Dale Hogan, 60, of Carmi will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Tim Gholson and Doug Devore officiating.  Burial will be in Bruce Chapel Cemetery in Carmi.  Visitation will be on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Roger's memory to your favorite charity and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
