It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. Rodney Dwaine Jones, 51, passed away on July 27, 2015 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was a husband of Stacey Lynn Jones. They shared 33 years of marriage together. Rod fell in love with Stacey in the 2nd grade. Rod was born in Elgin, Illinois. He was the son of William Jones and the late Betty Leverett. He was employed by Haley's as a welder. Rod loved playing hot wheels cars with his grandson Jacoby. Rod will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh and smile. He is survived by his wife Stacey Jones, his son Justin (Courtney) Jones, his grandson Jacoby, one brother Chuck (Pam) Jones of Eldorado, three sisters Von Williams of Las Vegas, Sharon Jones of Dayton, Ohio, and Sandy Jones of Omaha. Two special sister-in-laws Karen Ward and Tammy Cleveland both of Norris City. Rod had several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on July 31 at 12:00 pm at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 10 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Norris City or your local American Legion and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
