Robert Hoskins

Robert L. "Bob" Hoskins, 78, of Norris City passed away at 1:15 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2015 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was born on April 11, 1937 in Norris City the son of Jacob P. and Bertie (Reeves) Hoskins. Bob married Ruby Lea Cook on July 3, 1962. He owned and operated Robert L. Hoskins Backhoe Service and attend Norris City First United Methodist Church.

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruby; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Deborah Hoskins of Evansville, IN; a granddaughter, Sydney Marie Hoskins; a sister, Frances Hamblin of Norris City; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dee and Dorothy Hoskins and Eddie and Fran Hoskins all of Norris City. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell and Howard Hoskins.

Graveside funeral services and burial for Robert L. "Bob" Hoskins, 78, of Norris City will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Powell Cemetery in Norris City with Rev. Gene Turner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Norris City First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
