Robert Frashier

Robert Edmond “Bob” Frashier 71 of Maunie, passed away Thursday February 4, 2021 at his home. He was born December 11, 1949 in Maunie, the son of Earl E. “Jack” and Rita M. (Barnes) Frashier. He married Karen Brown Williford on June 4, 2000.

Bob graduated from Carmi High School in 1967 and joined the United States Air Force where he served for 12 years. He was a highly decorated Air Force veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He retired from White County Coal as a Security Guard. He loved fishing and hunting and was a member of the Maunie United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Karen; stepson, Shane (Amanda) Williford and grandson, Hendrix. Also survived by his brothers, Ed (Kathy), Randy (Laurie) and Dan (Sunny) Frashier; brother-in-law, Terry (Marilyn) Brown and sister-in-law, Sharon Brown. Aunts, Uncle and nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday February 9, 2021 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi, with burial in Marshall Ferry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Masks and Social Distancing will be required. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com.
