Richard Green

Richard Allan Green, age 64 of Mt. Vernon, IN died early Sunday morning April 18, 2010 at his home. He was born July 21,1945 at Seneca Falls, NY the son of Gilbert and Edna (Gleason) Green. He married Sharon Sousa on November 14, 1987 in Salem NH and she survives.


Richard had been a truck driver for K.J. Bradley Trucking and was a veteran of the United States Army.


He is survived by his wife Sharon; one son Robert Tremblay of Germany; one daughter, Paula Green of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Jacqueline Tremblay, Brittnay Groves and Mark Groves; one great granddaughter, Jasmyn Neveah Casey; two sisters, Barbara Rennie of Las Vegas, NV and Pam Dawson of Ovid, NY and nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday April 20, 2010 at the Austin~Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. The American Flag will be presented at 7:45 by the Owen Dunn Post #5 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at austinfuneralhome.com
