Richard Geier

    Richard Leonard Geier, 79, of Carmi, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living. He was born on June 27, 1945, in Monroe County, Wisconsin, the son of Leonard and Stella (Erickson) Geier. Richard worked for 35 years as a welder for Dukane. Richard was a big Chicago sports fan. He enjoyed sewing and loved being with his family.

   Richard is survived by his children, Lisa (Kelly) Holloman of Carmi, IL, Joseph (Amber) Geier of Taylor Ridge, IL, Charlene (Rick) Wegner of La Crosse, WI, Scott (Aldena) Geier of La Crosse, WI, Jason (Colene) Geier of Kailua, HI. and Stephen (Tammy) Geier of Pelham, TN; several grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Geier of Hokah, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Linda Nilsestuen, Robert Geier and Norma Geier.

   There will be no services at this time. Contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the CWC Booster Club, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, or may be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
