Rebecca Jones

Rebecca “Becky” (Waters) Jones, 56, of Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at her home. She was born January 17, 1950 in Evansville, IN daughter of Cecil R. and Martha (Utley) Waters. She graduated with the MVHS Class of 1968. Becky operated The Attic Consignment Shop and had the bait shop in Mt. Vernon for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, David Rhoads.
Becky is survived by her brothers, Cecil R. Waters, Jr. and Roger Waters of Mt.Vernon, IN and Walter Waters of St. Phillips, IN; her sister, Linda Rhoads of Mt. Vernon and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with burial in the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Harvestime Temple in Mt. Vernon.
