Raymond Mason

Raymond Neal Mason, 76 of Carmi, passed away Tuesday morning January 2, 2018 at his home. He was born February 12, 1941 in Flora, the son of Orval and Hazel (Williams) Mason. He married Diana Rettig on March 26, 1966 in Butler, PA.
Neal worked most of his life for National Oilwell. He enjoyed playing Texas Hold-em and loved spending time with his grandson and going to ballgames.
He is survived by his wife, Diana; son, Robert (Roaslind) Mason; grandson, Travor Mason; and brothers, James (Paula) Mason and Alan (Rita) Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Suzzanna Mason and a sister, Jane Simpson.
A Celebration of Life for Neal will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Scott Baird and Rev. Herb Woolard officiating.
