Randy York

Randy York, 55, of Omaha passed away at 6:35 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 20, 1957 the son of Harry S. and Genievie (Sauls) York. Randy married Brenda J. Bassett on September 5, 1978. He was a 1976 graduate of Norris City-Omaha High School. Randy worked as a truck driver for Dyno Nobel and was a Mason and a member of the May Lodge #718.

Randy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Brenda of Omaha; his mother, Jenny of Omaha; a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Ryan Clark of Carmi; a son, Tim York of Carmi; two grandchildren, Hannah and Kyson; a sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Bobby Chittenden of Omaha; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Liz York of Omaha, Carl and Pam York of Crown Point, IN, and Jay W. and Sandy York of Merrillville, IN; a sister-in-law, Sherry and Bill King of Carmi; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Randy York, 55, of Omaha will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Tim Gholson officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery near Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Masonic Rites by the May Lodge #718 at 5:00 p.m.
