     Ralph Eugene Mayberry, 78, of Norris City, Illinois, passed away on October 17, 2024. He was born October 16, 1946, in Eldorado, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Margaret (Hill) Mayberry. Ralph was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

     After graduating from Norris City-Omaha High School, Ralph went on to serve as SPC 4 in the Army National Guard and was a dedicated welder and farmer for over 50 years. He loved hunting, watching his kids and grandkids play sports, volunteering for church, sledding every winter with Brenda, and University of Illinois basketball.

     Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Brenda; his children, Kimberly (Mark Vissotski) Mayberry-Fifer, Merideth (Chet) Seymour and Randall (Tara) Mayberry; his beautiful grandchildren, Madison (daughter of Kimberly) and her husband, Logan, Nikola and Trinity (children of Merideth and Chet), Jace and Kaylyn (children of Randall and Tara); and an adorable great-grandchild, Kyrie (daughter of Madison and Logan).

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Ditney Ridge Baptist Church in Norris City with burial at New Prospect Cemetery in Broughton. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Ditney Ridge Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Ditney Ridge Baptist Church toward Ghana Mission work in Africa and will be accepted at the church, mail to Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821 or by visiting https://gofund.me/4d614006 . Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
