Polly Jane Murdach

      Polly Jane (Curtis)  Murdach, 73, of Enfield, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi. She was born on July 2, 1950, in Kentucky, the daughter of John and Veneta (Murray) Curtis. She married Jerry Dee Murdach on March 13. 1970, and he survives.  Polly was a member of the Carmi Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

     In addition to her husband, Jerry Murdach of Enfield, Polly is survived by her son, Danny (Evelyn) Murdach of Galatia, IL; grandchildren, Desiree Murdach of Evansville, IN, Isabel Murdach of Carmi, IL, and Serenity Murdach of Galatia, IL; siblings, Carson Curtis, Dale (Mary) Curtis and Mike ( Frankie) Curtis; and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Curtis.

     Graveside funeral services and burial for Polly Murdach will be held at 10:00 a..m. on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Enfield Cemetery in Enfield, Illinois. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
