Phyllis June Gerdes Bryant, 79 of Danville passed on Thursday, October 24, 2013. Born June 7, 1934, she was the daughter of William and Myrtle Davis Gerdes. She was retired from Whirlpool and worked with the Danville-Boyle County Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Bryant; and by four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two daughters: Brenda Kae Valdez and Nancy Sue Bryant, both of Danville; one sister, Betty (Raymond) English of Danville; two grandchildren: Chris (Windy) Bryant and Rudy (Kaci) Valdez; and four great grandchildren: Gerald, Jacob, Maggie and Shelby.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland, KY. On Saturday, there is a visitation at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, Illinois at 1:00 pm with funeral service following at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
