Perry O. Hobby, 56, of Evansville and formerly of Washington, DC, died Sunday evening at St. Mary’s Medical Center of an apparent heart attack. He was born October 3, 1947 in Mt. Vernon, IN son of Donald and Dorothy (Jones) Hobby. He was a US Airforce Veteran and was a machine operator at Ameriqual Foods in Evansville.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Hobby of Oklahoma; his parents, Donald and Dorothy Hobby of Evansville; Foster Daughter Angela of Maryland; brothers, Roger and Bryan Hobby of Evansville, sisters, Donna Davis, Cheryl Stewart and Lori Hobby all of Evansville and Pamela Kendall and her husband Paul of Mt. Vernon, IN; grandchild, Shalicia Hobby and foster grandchildren, Samantha, Quintell and Tamia and a host of nieces and nephews, Cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 23, 2004 at Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, IN. Burial will be in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 22, at the funeral home.
