Penelope A. King 75 of New Harmony, IN passed away Tuesday November 20, 2017 at her home. She was born February 1, 1942 in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Stanley R. and Dorothy (Walters) Fultz. She married George King on July 27, 1963 in Bellview, OH and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2009.
Penelope was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #370 in New Harmony and the New Harmony Crafts Club. She and her husband had enjoyed traveling in their RV.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Velta) King of Indianapolis; daughters, Joy (Barry) Biggs of New Harmony, Julie King of Martinsville, IN and Jan (David) Lewis of Clearmore, OK. Seven grandchildren and and two great-grandchildren also survive. Brother, Steven Fultz of Fort Clinton, OH and a sister, Cheryl (Mike Meyers) Lyons of Huron, OH.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer and Heart Associations in care of the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt.
